Super sweet, delicious, whole food dessert with no added sugar or oil
2 ½ cups of almonds
1 cup of dried cranberries(for best results use cranberries with no added sugar and oil)
1 cup of seeded dates(preferably Medjool)
1 cup of dried apricots
1 cup of raisins
Place 1 ¼ cup of almonds, 1 cup of dried cranberries and 1 cup of dates into the food processor. Pulse until the almonds, cranberries and dates are cut up into tiny bits and the mixture starts to come together, almost like kneaded dough. Place this mixture in a large bowl.
Place 1 ¼ cup of almonds, 1 cup of dried apricots, and 1 cup of raisins in the food processor. Pulse until all 3 are cut into tiny bits and the mixture starts to come together, same as above. Place the mixture in the same large bowl.
Using a spatula or a large spoon combine the 2 mixtures together until all the ingredients are fully mixed.
Take a small bite-size of the mixture and roll it in the palms of your hand until it is well formed into a small ball or small “bonbon”
Place in a glass container and enjoy. Even without refrigeration, the dried fruit bonbons(Cranberry Ladoos) easily stay fresh for 3-4 weeks.Leave a reply
